Meet and greet the Gorefield Alpacas
£10pp, 45 minutes
Come and meet our beautiful herd of alpacas up close and personal.
This experience is great for any alpaca lover! The experience involves a farm tour while meeting all of our herd along the way.
During your visit you will meet all of the alpacas on the farm, get the opportunity to feed them, see them up close and personal and take as many photos as you can.
It’s a great way to see what they get up to a daily basis and have a wander with them through their paddocks and hopefully learn a little bit about them along the way.
You will need to wear suitable clothing for the weather and sturdy walking shoes or boots as the grass can sometimes be wet or slippery.
The experience lasts around 45 mins.
£10 per person or £35 Group of 4.*
Maximum booking number 12 people per session.
*Children under 5 can come for Free, when accompanied by an adult. Maximum number is two under 5’s per booking. Please email us once your booking is confirmed with your order reference to advise if any under 5’s will be included in your party.
Young children – For safety reasons children must be accompanied at all times by an adult. Small children are able to feed and meet the animals from a penned area and are not encouraged to walk freely amongst the animals.
Disabled access – For disabled visitors and wheelchair users, please contact us in advance of booking. There is a fair bit of walking involved and our paths are mainly grass. We are more than happy to make some adjustments for your visit so please do contact us in advance of booking so we can discuss your individual requirements.

Alpaca walking experience
£30pp or £45 for two people sharing an alpaca
If you like an outdoorsy activity and fancy something a bit different, then taking a stroll in the countryside with an alpaca might just be the answer!
Our alpaca walk takes place on the farm grounds. We take a gentle stroll down through the fields, taking in the rural Fenland views while watching the sheep grazing away as we pass by.
The experience begins with a short safety talk and meeting your alpaca. We then take a leisurely paced walk for around 45-55 minutes on grass pathways, stopping along the to take as many photos or selfies as you like. After the walk, we head over and meet the rest of the alpaca herd where you’ll get the chance to meet and feed the female alpacas and their cria.
£30 per person or £45 for two people sharing an alpaca.
Spectators for the experience £15 per person.
Maximum group size of 6 alpacas with accompanying walkers.
The finer details and requirements for the alpaca walk:
The minimum age to walk with an alpaca is 12 years old. Younger children between 9 and 11 years can walk alongside a parent or guardian as part of the ‘sharing an alpaca’ option.
All children below the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult during any experience.
You must be moderately fit and capable of walking on uneven ground with a large animal.

Bespoke alpaca packages
Thinking of something different? We are able to offer bespoke alpaca packages to cover a variety of events such as educational visits, parties or open events.
We will work with you to create a specifically tailored package to include alpacas in your plans.
Educational visits – These are great for for youth clubs, community groups or residential care homes. You can visit us or we would come along to your location with a number of alpacas and give a talk covering topics such as the history of alpacas, their current uses, health and handling. This a great way of providing an interactive learning experience all about alpacas.
Birthday parties and special occasions – A great way of adding an extra special touch to a memorable event. Your guests get to meet the alpacas up close, feed them and have some photos with them. Most suited to ages over 11 years. Corporate and special events – We offer tailored packages for seasonal or special events. For example, during the Christmas period our alpacas have been hired for Santa’s grotto and Christmas light switch on events.

Our prices for bespoke events vary due to location, time of events and specific requirements.
For a rough price guide when thinking about Bespoke alpaca events hire, we have a base line prices guide as follows:
Weekday – 5 alpacas for 1 hour – £150. Add on and extra hour + £100
Weekend – 5 alpacas for 1 hour – £200. Add on and extra hour + £100
We travel any where within Wisbech free of charge, beyond that we do charge additional travel expenses to cover time and fuel.
